The Worms

Glowworm Tunnel, Helensburgh NSW

Actually named the Metropolitan Tunnel in Helensburgh, this is an abandoned railway close to the new station off Tunnel Rd. It's a gorgeous place both day and night and a photographers dream. I'd heard about the glow worms and finally had a chance to head down and check them out last Friday. It was an incredible experience! The glow worms were so thick the deeper we went in the tunnel, it almost looked like "light at the end of the tunnel" even though there is a wall at the end. I got a few interesting shots but can't wait to go back and capture more.

A gorgeous sunset at Camden, NSW. Another guy pulled over to shoot the sunset too. It was a special one!
This is two separate exposures blended in Photoshop to capture the high dynamic range in the image.

Took these seascapes a few months ago... Top one is around the back of Bare Island, La Perouse... The bottom one is Botany Bay National Park

UWS "Nostalgia"

Some of the images from the recent UWS exhibition "Nostalgia". A bunch of ex-UWS students who are currently working as secondary school teachers were asked to submit / create works for this exhibition. These were my pick. We were also asked to give a talk on why we do what we do. I struggled to write my speech prior to the event and ended up just winging it. I talked about how i manage my anxiety and panic attacks through my photography. It was a good day. I even sold one of my works on the day.
